Christmas wreaths — a workshop for the residents of the senior home in Góra

On 14 December 2023 I led a floristry workshop for the residents of the senior home in Góra. Around a shared table, everyone made their own door wreath — from a ring covered with fir and thuja sprigs to festive touches: slices of dried orange, cones, beaded sprigs and red ribbons.

I showed how to lay the sprigs in one direction so the wreath is full and even, and how to fix the decorations so they hold for the whole season. But what mattered most was working together, the conversations and the satisfaction of a finished wreath that can go straight onto the door.

In the photos: work at the table, wreath details and one participant's finished piece.
