Leverano in Fiore

Leverano (Italy) Events

A flower festival in Leverano, Apulia — together with a Polish team of florists we turned the town's main square into a land of wreaths. I was there as a volunteer florist.

From 29 to 31 May 2026 the flower festival Leverano in Fiore took place in Leverano, Apulia. I went there with a Polish team of florists on a trip with the International Floristry Institute (Międzynarodowy Instytut Florystyczny) and worked as a volunteer florist. Together we turned the main square of this charming town into a real land of wreaths — we used so much wire that it could easily wrap half of Apulia.

We also kept our fingers crossed for the Polish representatives, Beata Sych and Aleksandra Flak, in the international floristry competition. They won 1st place, and Poland stood on the top step of the podium for the fourth time. All under the watchful eye of World Champion Tomasz Max Kuczyński and Polish Champion Zygmunt Sieradzan — while pizza, Aperol Spritz and views of the Ionian Sea helped us recharge.
