Event Course — part 1

Floristry Industry Skills Centre (BCU), Turza Śląska Events

The first session of the Event Course at the Floristry Industry Skills Centre in Turza Śląska — a programme that prepares floristry masters to decorate large events. I was one of the participants.

A floristry master title does not end the learning. At the end of July 2026 I took part in the first session of the Event Course, organised by the Floristry Industry Skills Centre (Branżowe Centrum Umiejętności – Florystyka) in Turza Śląska. It is a programme for floristry masters that prepares them to become specialists in event spaces — decorations for galas, weddings, conferences and premium events.

The first session was led by Kacper Terka. Over three intensive days we worked on the principles of spatial composition, work organisation and teamwork — without them there are no professional projects at large events. In the photos: course participants with bouquets made during the classes, and my red bouquet built on a black wire structure.

This is the first of several sessions — the next ones will be led by other lecturers and industry specialists. I bring what I learn on the course to the projects I create for my clients.
