European Floristry Championship — Europa Cup 2022

August 26, 2022 International Congress Centre, Katowice Events

A turning point in my floristry journey: as a volunteer at the European Floristry Championship in Katowice I helped masters from all over Europe create their show pieces and began working with the florist community in Poland.

From 26 to 28 August 2022 the International Congress Centre in Katowice hosted the European Floristry Championship — Europa Cup 2022. For me it was a turning point: I came as a volunteer, met floristry masters from all over Europe and helped them create their show pieces. That event started my intensive development and my work with the florist community in Poland.

Among other things, I worked on an installation by Katarzyna Rduch, commissioned by the Polish Florists' Association — "a bit of Silesia" in flowers: seven-metre birches with sunflowers, gerberas, roses and gladioli that we had to stand upright together. The flowers were transported by the Silesian Floristry Centre Rekpol.

The photos also show competition pieces, national team stands, a show of floral fashion and the championship gala.
