1st Flower Festival in Opole Lubelskie

The first Flower Festival in the City Park in Opole Lubelskie — an exhibition of large-scale floral forms, a masters' show, a competition and workshops. I worked at the festival as a volunteer florist.

On 15 June 2025, during the Opole Fair, the City Park in Opole Lubelskie filled with flowers for the first time. The 1st Flower Festival was organised by the Municipality of Opole Lubelskie together with the Polish Florists' Association, and the idea came from florist Agnieszka Pyda-Mędyk. The programme included an exhibition of large-scale floral forms, "A summer tale with a hint of raspberry", a floristry masters' show, the "Tea at the Lubomirskis'" headpiece competition and workshops for children.

I worked at the festival as a volunteer florist and, together with other florists, created pieces for the large-scale exhibition. The park filled with floral arches, installations of branches, grasses and ribbons, arrangements wrapped around tree trunks and pink "skirts" on the trees.
