A ceremony in red and fuchsia in front of Pałac Wąsowo — Just Wedding Workshop

At the Just Wedding Workshop at Pałac Wąsowo (22–24 May 2023) I worked on the flowers for a staged wedding: decorating the terrace and steps of the neo-Gothic palace in red, fuchsia and burgundy, and a calla lily bouquet.

Just Wedding Workshop is a workshop for photographers, filmmakers, wedding planners and florists that includes staged weddings with model couples. From 22 to 24 May 2023 a three-day edition took place at two venues in Wąsowo near Nowy Tomyśl — including a neo-Gothic red-brick palace surrounded by a park with old oaks. I worked there as a florist, on bouquets and decorations.

The ceremony was held on the terrace and steps in front of the palace. Gold round frames covered in flowers stood on the terrace, and arrangements in glass vases and tall candles lined the pink carpet. The colours were bold: red, fuchsia, amaranth and deep burgundy, with hydrangeas and roses, and the bride wore a red tulle dress with a long train.

For the shoot in the park there was a cascading bouquet of purple calla lilies with red and burgundy flowers — with a brown checked suit and a white wooden bridge it looked striking.
