A Black & White wedding at Spichlerz Wąsowo — decorations for Just Wedding Workshop

At the Just Wedding Workshop at Spichlerz Wąsowo I worked on the decorations for a Black and White wedding: white flowers on tall gold stands by black tables, in a timber barn with chandeliers.

The three-day Just Wedding Workshop took place from 22 to 24 May 2023 at two venues in Wąsowo — the palace and the Spichlerz. Its programme included a staged “Black and White Wedding” — in a rustic barn, but in an elegant black-and-white style. It took place at Spichlerz Wąsowo, a spacious hall with timber beams and crystal chandeliers. I worked on it as a florist, on bouquets and decorations.

The tables were laid with black cloths and the chairs dressed in black covers. Against this backdrop stood arrangements of white flowers only — roses, hydrangeas and orchids — on tall gold stands, and the couple's table was lined with a long band of white flowers. Gold charger plates and candlesticks and crystal curtains with lights above the hall completed the look.

The bride carried a bouquet of cream roses and dark, almost chocolate calla lilies, matched to the black-and-white palette. A few photos also show the preparations: ladders, hanging decorations and setting the tables.
